The Stan's No Tubes Tire Sealant is effective in low temperatures but not as much in high temperatures. The amount of sealant needed for a standard 29er wheel is about 2 or 3 oz. It is necessary to add sealant to the tire based on the temperature and punctures in the tire. The sealant works well with tubes, but not on anything that is PVC. It takes two to four (2 - 4) ounces to seal a bicycle tire, although some tires may require more. Reviews suggest that the product works well and fast shipping is a plus, and it is relatively easy to get set up. However, some customers have complained about the unpleasant smell, and the fact that it is tricky to clean up once used.
