This Electric Magnetic Lock with Z and L Bracket is an ideal solution for those who need single door access control system. It has a holding force of 280KG and 600LBS, which is good enough to hold the door securely closed. One of the customers asked if it could be used to lift large metal plates with a hoist and the response was negative as it is not safe and not designed for that purpose. Another customer who was building a magnetic hold to process metal parts after plasma cutting wanted to know the number of amperes necessary for powering three locks. In response to this, it was disclosed that a 12 volt, 500ma power supply is enough to power two locks. A customer also had issues with heat and requested ways to cool it down. The best solution recommended was to use a lower amp power supply.
