Answer: That is true. Actually, $100 per license is quite the deal. This is a license-based system, so when you add a phone, you have to add a license. -

Will this phone work with a motel system?
Answer: It depends on what system the motel is using. -

Do they work with most SIP providers, and if so, how are these phones configured?
Answer: The Mitel 5320e is a 'dual mode' phone which means it supports MiNET and SIP protocols. With that being said, I have not personally connected a 5300 phone to anything other than a Mitel system. Your best bet is to check with your SIP provider and get a compatibility list, this way you choose a phone you know is compatible. Hope this helps Rick @ Dotcom Computers -
Question:
Does it connect wireless?
Answer: If by wireless you are referring to the headset option, neither the 5320 nor 5320e support an integrated DECT headset or Bluetooth option. You'll have to purchase the 5330/5340/5360 models. If by network connectivity, there's only the LAN connection or PC pass-thru for single drops. You would need a WiFi bridge for 802.11 wireless support. -

Answer: The backlit version of this phone is part number 50006634. The non-backlit version of 5320e is 50006474.
