STEINER Navigator 7x50 Binoculars - Magnification 7X - High Contrast Optics - Floating Prism System - Sports-Auto Focus - Delivers Excellent Image

The Steiner Navigator 7x50 Binoculars have garnered a mixed reception among users, highlighting a divide in customer experiences based on performance and build quality. On one side, customers who appreciate these binoculars commend their robust Construction and effective auto-focus feature, making them well-suited for activities such as boating and travel. These users often highlight the binoculars' optical clarity and user-friendly design, applauding their adaptability to various viewing conditions. However, a contrasting perspective surfaces from customers who feel that the performance does not align with the premium price tag of over $600. Critics note that while the individual focus system, termed "sport focus," has its merits, it lacks smoothness in operation, leading to frustration. Complaints about internal reflections in the imagery at night and a heavier, less appealing plastic build contribute negatively to the perception. Several reviewers outright compare them unfavorably to other brands, claiming that alternatives like Fujinon provide far superior value and performance, often at lower prices. Despite the solid reputation of Steiner in the binocular market, a segment of customers feels that the Navigator 7x50 models are overpriced for the quality delivered, leaving them disappointed and opting for returns in favor of competitors. **
