Zipbolt Angled Handrail to Newel Post Connector — 11.560 Angled Staircase Railbolt for Lower Connection Acute Angle Post Fastener, Easy

The Zipbolt Angled Handrail to Newel Post Connector has generally received positive feedback from users, particularly for its simplicity and effectiveness in installation compared to traditional rail bolts. Many customers appreciated the ease of use, noting that the connections were straightforward to make, especially when using the company's full range of products. Users have mentioned that while the installation requires precise measurements, the benefits outweigh this minor inconvenience; once in place, the bolts create a solid connection that enhances the overall look of the railing. However, some have encountered minor issues with the quality of the ball bearing hinge. There are concerns that the hinge can come apart when screwing the connector into the newel post, leading to difficulties in achieving a tight fit. This aspect has raised apprehensions about the product's durability, particularly if the hinge were to break during installation. Despite these concerns, customers have found using the Zipbolt system to be easier than using traditional rail bolts. A few users also highlighted the importance of using additional tools, such as a flexible drill bit attachment, to ensure that the installation goes smoothly, particularly when drilling at an angle. Instructions and the availability of templates were also noted as helpful, as they simplify the installation process. In summary, the Zipbolt Angled Handrail to Newel Post Connector is mostly well-received for its user-friendly design, making it a preferable alternative to conventional rail bolts, despite some concerns regarding the hinge quality. **
