The Horizons 2nd Grade Student Books 1 and 2 each contain 80 lessons covering adding, subtracting, and multiplying money, reading a Fahrenheit thermometer, determining liquid measure equivalents, reading graphs and maps, determining linear equivalents in English and metric measurements, identifying geometric figures, and much more. This AOP curriculum uses the spiral learning technique, with cycles of concept introduction, frequent review, and lesson reinforcement. Concepts are continuously reinforced, increasing comprehension and retention of information and skills.
