The Sling Media Slingbox 350 Old Version is a device that allows you to rebroadcast the video output of another device such as an OTA cable box, a cable company box, DVD, or VCR. It has an IR blaster that turns the box on even when using RF remotes. It streams content through a 10Mbps (Download)/ 5Mbps (Upload) Internet speed, at which point streaming works well on high resolution, which isn't possible below 2,000Kbps. One device can stream from the account/slingbox at a time. Unfortunately, the device requires video input usually from a cable or satellite box. Therefore, it is inappropriate for the most basic cable TV service. Customer Experience: Most customers have great experiences with the Slingbox 350, often praising its effectiveness once it works. However, several customers receive a flawed product or are unable to install it. Some reports that buffering issues and low-quality resolution, even on robust networks. Consequently, there are arguments about its relativity usefulness.
