The Extech 380400 Resistance Decade Box is a product that is widely used in testing purposes. It features 11 dials that offer resistances of 1 to 11,111,110 Ohm. Additionally, the item can be used in parallel circuits and can simulate different devices when testing DC control systems. It uses standard banana test ends and has been used to test circuit integrity, diagnose automotive trouble codes, and check sensors, gauges, and other circuits. When measured, the tolerance of each resistor was between 1-3%. The yellow box looks nice on the bench and does not take too much space. There were concerns about switch precision and accuracy to provide correct readings, with one user reporting that after testing, the 20 ohm switch would not show resistance. Another user found the switches to feel rough when set to 'IN' or 'OUT.'
