PARADOX Games PDX38 Editorial Review
Mount & Blade - PC offers a unique blend of RPG and action with its highly immersive horse-mounted combat mechanics, allowing players to experience realistic riding with various gaits such as walking, trotting, and galloping. Players engage in deep melee and ranged combat using a system that enables attacks from multiple angles, creating a strategic gameplay experience. Furthermore, the game has a multitude of user-created mods available, expanding its content and replayability, with themes ranging from medieval times to science fiction. Despite the lack of a main quest and some repetitive missions, gamers appreciate the freedom to explore and switch between mods, ensuring each playthrough feels fresh and enjoyable. This game has captivated players who enjoy a non-linear approach to gameplay, focusing on exploration and battle rather than a fixed narrative.
