Sodium Hydroxide - Lye (Caustic Soda Beads) 10lb

Sodium Hydroxide, commonly known as lye or caustic soda, is not a nutritional product and is not intended for direct consumption. It is primarily used in industrial applications, food processing (such as curing olives and making pretzels), and cleaning products. While it can have functional benefits in food preparation, its caustic nature poses significant health risks if improperly handled or ingested. Nutritionists would caution consumers against considering it a nutritional supplement due to its potential to cause severe burns or other harm. It is not suitable for any dietary needs and should be used strictly according to safety guidelines in food applications only. Overall, it does not offer health benefits that contribute to a healthy diet and requires careful handling to avoid serious health implications.
