Elle Kennedy's THE CHASE is the first book in the Briar U series and is a spin-off from the Off-Campus series. The story follows Briar hockey player Colin Fitzgerald and Summer Di Laurentis, who is the younger sister of Dean Di Laurentis from THE SCORE, book three of the Off-Campus series. Despite being different in many ways, they discover their similarities and cannot deny their attraction to each other. The plot is skillfully written, hard to put down, and showcases examples of people judging others before they get to know them. The characters are well-developed, and the story has a great ending. All the reviewers loved the book and are eagerly waiting for the second book in the series.
