Fantasy Editorial Review
Leech: A Gothic Horror weaves a slow-burning narrative that intricately explores class disparities amid its haunting story. The protagonist, Jasper, embodies complexity as he navigates his relationship with Leo Lambert, heir to a wealthy family, while masquerading as Leo's valet due to societal taboos of 1899. The supporting cast, especially the Lamberts, adds rich layers to the tale, with characters like the mischievous Elsie and the enigmatic Ansehelm providing depth and intrigue. Readers will find that the horror elements are complemented by character development that resonates, particularly in the gradually revealed dynamics and secrets that unfold within the story's gothic setting.
