fixd Editorial Review
The FIXD OBD-II Active Car Health Monitor has received favorable reviews from users who appreciate its ease of use and convenience. Many customers have noted that the device pairs seamlessly with their smartphones, allowing for an intuitive interface through its app. Users have successfully employed the FIXD monitor on multiple vehicles, highlighting its effectiveness in diagnosing issues and providing useful data about car health, including battery voltage and wear items like tires. However, while the product excels at clearing the check engine light with a simple tap, a common concern among users is its inability to retain fault codes once the light is cleared. Reviewers expressed frustration that they could not retrieve the original diagnostic codes after clearing the light, leaving them unable to understand the root of the problem. Despite this limitation, users have praised the overall utility of the FIXD device, particularly for those who engage in DIY car repairs or for mechanics seeking an efficient diagnostic tool. The device’s potential to save time and money on repairs has impressed users, with many stating they would recommend it to friends and family. The option for a premium subscription for additional features has also been noted, though some users have encountered technical issues with this service, which slightly detracted from their overall satisfaction. In conclusion, while the FIXD device has its drawbacks, its benefits, especially for troubleshooting and initial diagnostics, make it a worthwhile investment for car owners. **
