The Rubbermaid Pitcher is a sturdy and durable product made of heavy-duty plastic. It is easy to clean and provides a clear view of the liquids inside. The pitcher has a tight-fitting lid which is easy to twist from closed to open positions. However, the lid does not lock, so it may accidentally dislodge, especially if little ones use it. The pitcher displays 1 and 2-literation measurements on one side and 1 and 2-quart measurements on the opposite side with indicators for in-between measurements. The product is safe to wash in the dishwasher if placed away from the heating element. Some buyers have complained about the unpleasant plastic smell that does not seem to go away even after use for a couple of years. Others were sent a different model of the pitcher than the one pictured, which had a shorter and broader shape and a different lid.
