StarTech External Memory Card Readers 35FCREADBK3 Editorial Review
The StarTech.com 3.5in Drive Bay IDE to Single CF SSD Adapter Card Reader seems to have a mixed reception among customers. Some users have found success in using it for their specific devices, such as a Roland VP9000 or Akai MPC 2000xl, after finding the right compact flash cards to use with it. However, others have had issues with compatibility, particularly with cards over 2GB, and ended up returning the product. On the positive side, customers have praised the ease of installation, the convenience of the additional USB socket, and the overall functionality of the card reader. Some users have also appreciated the discreet power indicator light and the overall build quality of the product. In summary, while the StarTech.com 3.5in Drive Bay IDE to Single CF SSD Adapter Card Reader has been successful for some users in specific setups, it may not work well with all devices or card types. **
