Speedball Underglaze, Spring Yellow, 16 oz, Made in USA, Lead-Free Color for Pottery and Ceramics, Wide Firing Range Cone 05-10, Food Safe
The Speedball Underglaze in Cool Gray has garnered positive reviews from customers who appreciate its ease of use and versatility in various artistic applications. Many users have noted that the underglaze applies smoothly and evenly, with a rich pigmentation that provides excellent coverage. This feature has made it a favorite for ceramics, as it easily accommodates various techniques, including sgraffito and bubble glazing. Customers have highlighted the durability of the colors post-firing, affirming that they retain their vibrancy and achieve beautiful, opaque finishes. Users also commend the affordability of Speedball underglazes, recognizing them as good value for the quality they provide. The Consistent quality across different colors reinforces customer satisfaction, with many expressing trust in the Speedball brand based on long-term use in other art forms, such as printmaking. While the vast majority of feedback has been positive, there are some points of caution regarding color application. Some users find that the initial color straight from the jar may appear subdued until fired, which may require adjusting expectations for the final outcome. Additionally, a few users noted that applying too many coats can lead to issues like pinholes or blisters, suggesting that experimentation with application techniques may be necessary for optimal results. Overall, customers have responded warmly to the Speedball Underglaze, embracing its user-friendly properties and artistic potential while acknowledging the need for careful application. **
